The Magical Mundane

An ornate teacup with gilded books in the back.

Some moments are too sweet for words
too soft for voices and music
too delicate for movement

They come, more a discovery than arrival
They have always been and always will be
Waiting patiently for a soul to awaken
to their eternal existence
to acknowledge sacred silence
to bask in sweet nothingness

Forever and always
Light and shadow and breath
it’s a warmth you can sense
soothes the soul from root to crown
that feeling of being tightly held
of being seen

Find moments too sweet for words
the magic in the mundane
the quiet in life’s routine

Yes! Those moments are easy to recognize when you start paying attention.
