Paint Me Your Story

Can you tell me your name?
What is your story?
There’s a complexity to your eyes
wisdom in that kind smile
and yes, I see pain wound round
your twiddling thumbs
the kind that carves creases
in your brow and
weathers your features
to a new perspective
You have the look of
someone who knows
to embrace all that
you do not know
It’s here before me,
all of you,
I can see you
I want to know you
So can you tell me your name?
Can you paint me your story?

I love this idea of story telling and searching for names. The book “Name of the Wind” teaches me that names are a very powerful thing

Love it. The beginning, the meet, when everything is a possibility,
